The Lord’s Day is celebrated at 9 a.m. with traditional liturgical worship as found in the Lutheran Service Book with the Sacrament of the Altar (Holy Communion) the first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month. During the seasons of Advent and Lent, we offer the Sacrament of the Altar every Sunday.
Individual Confession and Absolution is available. Please call, text, or email Pastor for an appointment - (619)318-7938 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Regarding Holy Communion:
Following Jesus’ command and invitation, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion). Prince of Peace follows the practice of instructing its members in the Christian faith through the process known as Confirmation. Upon completion of the process they are confirmed into the Christian faith and then partake of the Lord’s Supper. Please speak to our pastor before communing if you have not been confirmed in our congregation or a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod [LCMS] or are not a member of an LCMS congregation. If you are visiting with us and not receiving Holy Communion, you are welcome to come up to receive a blessing or you may remain seated. If you have questions about our practice or would like to learn more about our church please speak to our pastor.
